Cuando llega el momento de entrar en helicóptero por el tejado (Aunque la casa tenga puerta), cuando utilizamos K9 o simplemente cuando queremos extraer a un compañero herido sin perder la capacidad de poder seguir abriendo fuego, el lanyard suele formar parte de nuestro equipo.
Por muy útil que sea el cordón, cuando empieza el trabajo de verdad hay que desengancharlo y guardarlo en el cinturón, preferiblemente sin tener que mirar.
Lanyard Retainer permite hacer precisamente eso y lo que es más importante aún, no utiliza ningún Molle del cinturón.

When it's time to enter the helicopter through the roof (even if the house has a door), when we use K9 or simply when we want to extract a wounded colleague without losing the ability to continue opening fire, the lanyard is usually part of our equipment.
As useful as the lanyard is, when the real work begins, it must be unhooked and stowed on the belt, preferably without having to look.
